RoboAvatar, Male and Female RoboAVatars

I FINALLY FINISHED THE DAMNED MALE ROBO AVATAR THINGIE.

MALE! FEMALE!

Drive me crazy, seriously... I think all together this was about 30 hours of stuff, and I still want to do proper textures eventually.

Mind, these are AVATARS! They are the 'naked' defaults, if you put things on it will replace the parts of this, but if you take it off it will return to ROBOAVATAR GOODNESS! You can replace the eyes and eyebrows, I've gone through the trouble to properly divide and line up the 'accepted' bodypart connection points for every body part.

I really hope lots of people derive these with amazing textures, but I have to warn you! Both avatars have ALOT of textures! I've gone through the work to make my mappings aspect-friendly so the only tearing that's really bad is mostly with spheres I did quick top/bottom mappings with.

Of course, you can get the sources here... http://operationinertia.org/IMVU/Sources/

This will allow people who have enough experience in 3D Studio Max to export their own products to make ADVANCED DERIVATIONS! It's a trend I'm trying to start, mostly driven by my interest in Free and Open Source Software.

You will need to review the IMVU Head document, but before you do that, you should have a solid understanding of Morph Targets.

I kind of made them from scratch, but it's more like I made them 'over' the default avatars, it's important to get everything lined up so people can put on their own stuff.

It'll all make perfect sense in time. I swear, anyone can do this stuff if they take them time to learn to work with it.

And... I'm not going to make any more products until I get more derivations of my roboavatars! Really! Maybe!

p.s.
I need help with an elven head i made under Genome Corp.
for some reason the animations would not work which i think is due to the modifications i made to the points....anyway ill leave that to another discussion in the meshing area..

Just to make sure you know... when working with morph targets, you can not add or remove vertices or faces after the morph target is applied. You need to have the same verticies present, not just the same number, but the exact same ones.

You can only add modifiers that change the positions of verticies (warps), you can't reset the UVW maps or the weighting.

well all i did was move the verticies and i guess that was enough for it to stop the animations...(shrug)
